What part is this? - step 6, first photo, being held in the fingers of the person demoing the Teardown. I've replaced the back of my iphone 4, and this part fell out in the process. I can't figure out where it goes or what it is. Any ideas?

I don't have an IPhone so I can't tell you what the piece is for. However from the pictures it looks like that piece sits underneath the battery connector. Looking at pictures 1 and 2 on step 5 shows it's placement.
