Wifi+Bluetooth greyed out after screen replacement. Touch ID disabled
Hello,
My friend got a screen replacement on an iPhone 6 awhile back.
Wifi and bluetooth stopped working (greyed out) and touch ID is disabled (whenever you try to set up fingerprint, it skips and throws an error message prompting you to try again).
From what I've read, the Wifi module on the board is most likely not working. Would there be a possibility that it is just the antennas/cables? Also, if it is the chip itself, how effective would heat gunning it be to get the solder to flow.
For touch ID, the home button works fine, so could the "conductive plate" mentioned on a different question herebe the culprit, or would it be a different issue?
I have not opened it yet, but plan on doing so within the next week or two.
Thanks
Is this a good question?
