Battery Access door doesn't close cleanly

What's the best way to to get the battery access door to close cleanly against the front edge? Right now it doesn't snap tightly, but does hold in place.

Have you had the screws of the other half of the bottom case out? If yes, check if one of the four tiny screws next to the battery bay protudes. They are shorter than the outer screws.

Otherwise a slight push lets the access door snap into place.

There's a small plastic piece that fits on one edge of the battery facing the main case. Mine fell off. It appears that it's merely glued to the battery. This piece of plastic holds the battery down enough for the battery cover to close properly. I simply glued the piece back on the the battery and let it set for a while, around 1 hour. Then I put the battery back in and the cover closed properly.

My two cents.

BTW, if you do go to speak to the genius bar, make sure the apple genius is female. My experience has been that males are arrogant, rude, stubborn, and do not listen to you or take the time to understand the real problem. Girls on the other hand, seem to be more knowledgeable, patient, and they listen to the customer.

Again, my two cents.
