Why are my pictures coming out distorted in color and leaking ink?

So i have had this forever and today i put in a new film, and for some reason, it's not working. My pictures are coming out of the top, however, they come out with ink on them and with color all over the picture. The picture that i take is not visible and the only thing that is, is the ink and the discoloration of the pictures. Please help me!

I think it has to do with the rollers. I’ve taken a film from the film cartridge and the ink comes from the bottom. When it rolls through the rollers I believe they are supposed to push the ink out. I could be wrong though but I think it has to do with the rollers.

Without knowing much about this camera at all, that sounds to me like maybe a bad roll of film? Do you have any others you could try?

Could you upload a picture of one of the pictures that isn't printing correctly?

I have exactly the same problem, do you know from where does it come from?

Could you fixed it? The film? The camera?

Thank you.

:( I don't know neither for the moment, I'll send the information where I bought my camera. I think the problem comes from it. Not from the films.... I'll tell you if there is an answer. Thanks to you!

awww poo!!! Alright, thank you!!! Please, whatever information you can provide me would be helpful. The information where you brought it and anything else! I'll keep you updated

A question : Did you travel by plane with these films? (Maybe They've been damaged by the X-ray scan....)

Did you try with new one just bought?

I still don't know what happened./..

by

Hello Maya!

For me, problem solved !

I've been to a camera shop to fix it, but at the same time I change by a new film just bought. And it's work.

The guy from the shop just cleaned inside but didn't see anything wrong. For him it was the films.

In fact, those films travelled with a friend by plane, and was not in the cabin. I think the problem is made by the X-ray for control in the airport.

What about you?

i think that the film was over exposed and not fully developed. maybe if you try a new film or check the inside of your camera you will find the problem. Maybe the infrared blaster?

i’ve used two packs already and they all come out the same. ink all over them, and some don’t even develop. i’m scared because i’ve only had this polaroid for two months and i have a trip in a week that i want to take polaroids at.

Your film has probably been exposed.

Did you try with another new film, not bought at the same time?

( because if it travel together, it could be exposed to X-ray for example, like for me when my friend traveled with it, but not carrying it in the cabin)

by

What do you mean by exposed? And also I just bought it the day before yesterday. So it wasn't the x-ray.

Hi, Try charging your polaroid overnight / for several hours. Mine was doing the same thing for a while until I cleaned the rollers (located were the film is placed and on the outside where the film comes out) and charged it overnight.
