How to Restring a Wall Mounted Hills Clothes Line

I have a wall mounted Hills clothes line and need to restring it but it has plastic "clips" that the string goes in to. I can't see any way of getting the "clips" open or off the side of the line to insert the line. The line is older and doesn't have a model number or name on it.

Scroll down to the video entitled Hills Supafold Folding Frame – Line Re-tension Instructions. It shows how to remove the plastic clips' cover. Hopefully this is the type that you mean.
