Why is my J1 charging indicator flashing on and off?
when plugged in the charging indicator flashes like your plugging in and unplugging the phone consequently it takes a very long time to charge

@yale250 ,Doug, Try another compatible known working charger, if still not charging properly Look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue also look in the port for any bent pins and straighten very carefully with a tooth pick if all looks good change the battery as it is probably defective.
