There is a real good video on youtube that will show you how to repair the CD.

Of course make sure that all cables are connected and in good working order. You could try to replace your cd drive for your sega by getting a console that has a working drive. Just checked on ebay.com and there are a few that are inexpensive. Keep those great consoles going:) good luck

The Sega CD is a different console. This person is asking about the Saturn.

Stop posting this repeated garbage every time someone asks about a Saturn. Who on earth gives advice about something they clearly know nothing about?

idrepublix, "Who on earth" that would have been me. I am glad that you are criticizing an answer that is 4 1/2 years old and left your own answer.

Herte's an answer for you then mate - you were tryiing pathetically to gain whatever cre dor currency this site gives you for 'answers' with worthless non-answers - just like a good American.

Here's an actual answer for the question that was asked - this is not a laser issue as the drive clearly ha sno power. The FFC ribbon cable connecting power to the drive may have popped out, or, the CD drive may just be dead. That's a real answer for you, champ.

Also like a good American, you defend yourself with stupid asinine red herrings (time since your useless answer was posted has what effect on it misguiding people to this day and being worthless noise, exactly?) and have nothing in you to take back or apologise for misinformation (just like Colin Powell and WMDs! Just like the Tokyo Trials!).

Hope that help, you sad geezer.

Yup, typical Ugly American and white male. Someone calls out his garbage and gives correct information - and he responds effeminately with passive aggressive whining. Nice job, you manly man you.

I have a saturn and mine would turn on to the main screen, but would not spin the disc. I noticed if the door was pushed down just a little bit more, it would then spin the cd. I took the saturn apart and just ajusted the arm for opening the lid. it worked fine after that. It has been a few years since I have done it, so I really don't remember the details, but there may be a tutorial somewhere if you google it.
