Wifi doesn't connect, antenna or

I got the phone and the wifi wouldn't connect. I unplugged the antenna toward the top of the phone, plugged it back in, and then it worked.

Does it sounds like the antenna is the problem?

How should I fix this?

There's an antenna like piece, and the other piece near the top of the phone that apparently are related to wifi. Which one?!

I'm not super sure which part you disconnected. Here's the part. You could potentially remove the antennae, clean everything gold with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Nothing lower, and test to see if that takes. Or buy a $2 part. Or I'm trying to think what software solution would be for this...also I mean obviously check different wifi networks
