Need help finding replacement parts

I bought a PS4 off of ebay thinking that it would be an easy fix replacing the HDMI port. I have the port replaced and wired correctly, but as it turns out the guy I bought it from had actually taken several small parts off of the motherboard and didn't tell me.

I need help finding replacements or substitutions.

Here are the parts that I've noticed are missing:

(The iFixit guide has pictures of what should be there)

Update (04/05/2017)

Update to anyone who may have the same problem:

I think I've found one of the missing parts, according to toni31 on PS3hax (http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=9...) the small black box near the HDMI port is a Taiwan Semiconductor UDZS18B

Still looking for that other part.

EDIT: Maybe found the the other part? ABRACON AIML-0805-1R0K-T

Tfix (https://www.tfix.co.uk/portfolio/ps4-hdm...) says that you just need "another 0805 90 Ohm 0.28A 100Hz impedance SMT part" to replace it, and googling that brought me to the ABRACON AIML-0805-1R0K-T, which looks similar to the original part. If anyone knows more about technical specifications please confirm or correct me on that one

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@raddude, RadDude McCoolguy, Find below links that may help identify missing components and also consider the board may have other issues and perhaps replacing board as alternative. Find below links/guide for replacing the mother board and link where you can select your model to see if replace MB available. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Unfortunately none of these list the names of any of the small components, which is what are missing.

@raddude,

I agree with @thethirdtwin and @lpfaff1. You should just replace the board. It likely has water damage and that's why the seller scavenged parts from it.

by

It doesn't have water damage. Everything works except there's no picture out of the HDMI. It doesn't even show any error lights or anything it just turns on like it should.

RadDude McCoolguy, Sorry i did not find what these components are, I will put a call out to see if oldturkey03 may have knowledge of the parts matching that you have found in your comments. Just give it a bit of time. Thanks for replying back.

If there is no picture to the HDMI, aside from the missing chips, how can you tell the GPU has not failed or the PS4 can boot completely?

Yes it seems the previous owner has removed parts. In order to fix it, you'll need to buy another board with the parts you need still on.

CAUTION!

This board might have had a problem not worth fixing in the first place and was used for parts, so even though you might be able to put the missing components back, there might still exist a problem.

Are you sure there's nothing else I can use as a replacement? If I buy another PS4 I'll have spent enough money to just buy a working PS4.

Also the console turns on fine, it's just that there's no picture, so I think it's just those missing parts that are the problem.

by

Well, put it this way, you'll need to get the parts from somewhere, but first you'll need to identify them, and as far as I know there are no board view type places to identify digitally.

There are websites like this:

https://www.replacebase.co.uk/ps4-parts/

But again, as far as I know, there's no were to buy individual capacitors or transistors etc for the ps4 board, unless you talk to someone that has a board and is willing to de-solder and send you the parts.

Sorry I can't be of any more help, hope you find a resolution.
