iPhone 6s plus Screen Replacement no loudspeaker or volume controls.

One of the flex cables looks like it was bent on my replacement screen i ordered elsewhere just curious if that would cause no loudspeaker or volume controls. The vibration motor is also weak it just makes a clicking noise with little vibration. Just making sure there is nothing else i could do before i replace the screen. Thanks

The vibration motor feels significantly different when you compare 6 to 6s. It's probably normal but it's sometimes different when you compare a 6s to another 6s it might feel different but I guess that's how it is.

Edited to fix comment.

You did try replugging the battery and turning the phone off and on and see if it still happens right?

Loud speaker is greyed out during calls right?

Hey @benjamen50

I think that fact is the same on all phones. As I type on my Nexus 6 right now, the vibration is rather loud. 30 seconds ago it was silent. Just depends on what mood it's in ;). The vibration has changed 5 times in the last few minutes. It can't make up it's mind.

I see then it's just a consistency issue. In my experience the iPhone 4s overall have the same vibration feeling.

That is weird. Usually these things aren't synonymous. However it is possible that if you were having trouble putting the cables off and on, especially the battery connector, which I'm hoping you disconnected during the repair. The 6S 6S+ and likely the same for 7 series. Don't have bleeding capacitors, so rapidly putting the connectors on and off could damage some things. It's apparently the magic number of 12 seconds you would want to wait. Also, you may want to check your lightning dock connector. That would affect the loudspeaker and vibrator motor. As for the volume cables..would have to be considered during the first condition

Woops while taking out the battery connector i had popped the loudspeaker connector off and that screwed up everything. Taptic engine now rattles but that was a cheap fix for my customer. Thanks
