Slight water damage. Now only half of the screen works
How much would it cost to fix?
Is this a good question?

It is hard to give you an estimate based on a one-line request. Some shops charge based on a flat-fee solution and others based on work done. Some shops will not try to fix your phone (only data).
You will have to research repair shops that specialize in water damage and micro-soldering repairs. You can look at my profile for more info and there are several active members on this forum that do this type of repair as well.
You can also go to an Apple store, as Cameron suggests, but because your device is water damaged, they will probably not cover it under warranty or AppleCare.

iPhone 7 Screen Replacement How to fix and the part iPhone 7 LCD and Digitizer Probably cheaper to take it to apple to avoid ANY damage that you can cause. If you have applecare the replacement will be free

Apple will not cover water damage and will charge an out-of-warranty replacement. For the iPhone 7, it is 319$ (in the USA).
But thats 20 dollars more and to ensure that the job is done right with no error is worth it
The OP's problem is probably not related to the screen, it's probably backlight related. That would be a much less expensive repair. Also, an OOWR does not help the OP if they need to recover their data.
It's always difficult to respond to these types of questions because there are multiple solutions and we don't have enough information to guide them properly. You're logic is good if it's a only screen replacement and they want to buy it from iFixit.
Minho, i dont want to sound like an idiot but whats "OP"
