Removing Front / Top Casing Parts

Currently working to replace my faulty mode dial switch, to do this I need to remove the top and front casing parts. Do I need to remove the hot shoe plate to be able to get these parts off? If so how do I set about doing this?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@rlcrepairer, Rowan, Did do a good search for a service guide/manual with no luck. Below I posted a link to a like model that does have some partial disassembly guides that may help and a video(not English) showing the top being remove. Sorry could not find more at this time. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
