Dropped phone, now iPhone is unresponsive, someone help?

Dropped my Iphone 3g two days ago, but only from about 3 inches (rough conversation). But when i picked it back up, the LCD screen was white with vertical lines, though not cracked, then it went crazy, it looked like a TV that was trying to catch a digital signal...

Phone is unresponsive, except for hard restart. Itunes will not recognize it, touch screen not working, cannot hear incoming calls. I cant tell if it can except a charge or not, do to no sound or visualizations. I came to ifixit, followed all instructions to a 'T' to check connections, condition of internal components. Put it back together, and it's still doing the same thing. Can someone help?

if you have no display at all it's possible you broke the lcd-replace this and see what happens.

Once you can see what the phone is doing you'll have more of an idea how to fix it. It may be in restore or dfu mode hence no sound.

if no touch function it may also be the digitiser, you could order both together or just try the lcd first.

I'd suggest you open it up again and check that everything's connected, check for loose cables, not necessarily disconnected. Check everything twice.

Took your advice. disassembled everything again. all cables, conntections, solder points are ok. still no function out of the phone. let me ask you: you think that something in the Logic Board might have jarred loose? and is there a way to check?
