LCD slowly goes bad after replacement and working for 3 wks?

On 3/20/17 I received my LCD screen and front panel assembly. I successfully replaced and fixed the iPhone5 but on 3/30/17 the screen slowly went black, from bottom to top. You can see a small bit at the very top, ~1/2mm, but other than that no screen.

You can see in the pictures when it was 1/2 bad but now it is the whole screen.

It still works BTW, if you know the passcode you can simulate the pattern and unlock the phone and use siri to call so I'm supposing that means the digitizer is fine...

Thoughts anyone? Bad LCD? Bad fuse?
