Does iFixit 9.5 mm enclosure fit in the iMac 27"?

Does anyone have experience on installing the iFixit optical bay enclosure (9.5 mm) in the iMac 27" chassis?

The main question is; does the iFixit 9.5 mm SATA bay enclosure fit in ? I'm planning to replace the optical drive with an SSD.

Thanks.

Yeah you can do that, check this MacRumors thread for some tips.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, there seems to be discussion about the possibilities in the discussion forums, but I haven't seen any that actually confirms that the iFixit enclosure actually physically fits in as the replacement for the original SuperDrive.
