MacBook A1342 won't power on after replacing display

I replaced a defective display (side connectors failed) on my otherwise working MacBook A1342. Ordered a used display assembly and followed the directions here. Now it won't power on, and when I connect to the power adapter I get a solid green light. Followed Apple's troubleshooting procedures with no luck. Any suggestions, anything to look for before I tear this back down? Thanks!

Check all your connections, mainly the keyboard cable. Plug in the old screen to make sure this isn't causing an issue, although I doubt it. Try running it off of the charger with the battery disconnected too. Did you disconnect the battery whilst working on it, and did you disconnect it with a metal tool? You have possibly shorted something on the board.
