Replacing instrument cluster from one model to another.

Hi guys, so I just bought a 04 GS500F in really great condition. The only part of this bike I would love to upgrade would be the instrument cluster. It lacks fuel level for one. Now my question is, what would it take to replace the instrument cluster from my model to lets say to one of a gsx650F or any other model (Suzuki) that has a digital cluster (shows fuel level, gears etc).

I know I can opt out to a third-party part, but I havent found any that I love. And some of the Suzuki's have some pretty nice ones. Any ideas?

Thanks for the feedback.

@juanknightstand ,Juan, If even doable it would be a big job as your bike may not accept all the sensor, ecu,in tank fuel sender,etc.etc.. You would probably have to change over the wiring harness, fuse box, relays, sensors, ecu, modify bracketing,etc.,etc.. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Thanks for the reply! I'm waiting for my Haynes and Clymer manuals to come in the mail, but I was just trying to get a good place to start on this. Your answer definitely helped with that.
