Sounds like a battery problem to me. With no battery power it forgets its settings, like the date and time and the network settings.

Mayer, I am not questioning your judgement, but does that sound like the symptoms of a tablet that has WiFi and other. I don't think Samsung makes products, especially tablets, that don't save the settings and wifi passwords when the battery runs out. Just my 2¢.
@pccheese Who knows, when they really don't tell you what they have, it's really difficult to give an informed answer. You did the correct thing in asking. I probably should not have even posted an answer. If you had posted this answer i would have told you to get the facts first! MY BAD ;-(

What model is your tablet? Why don't you have USB? The time and date is wrong because it gets the time from wifi. Are there any other problems besides that?
