xt60 snapped off circuit board! can it be repaired
xt60 snapped off what do i do now please help.
it wasnt a bad crash just nocked into my shed and broke off the xt60 socket

Took it to a small independent computer repair shop he said come pick it up later 10 quid cause it's a quick fix !!

I have to say, fair play to the guy for saying he'll fix it for a 10er. Also, that seems like a major design flaw having bits of the board sticking so far out of the chassis.
Let us know how it goes, and what the repair is like.

Jeez thats really bad. It looks like the trace got ripped off which is very hard to repair. What you can do is using a multi meter or even your eyes follow where the trace goes and solder a wire directly from there to the connector.http://www.instructables.com/id/Solder-o... That guide should give you the basic ideas on what to do.
