The Z958 is specifically an AT&T variant of the Zmax 2. Physically they are identical. Internally there are some differences. For example AT&T's version has a neutered WiFi (only 2.4ghz, not 2.4ghz/5ghz).
Regarding screen protectors, they both can use the same one.
