Donna Palmer, engine size/auto or stand. trans.? Is the noise there when engine running and stopped/parked or is noise there when driving only, does noise change when you turn the steering wheel, does the noise speed up or change when you increase the RPM(give it more throttle), is the engine light on?? Check all your fluid levels and anything else you can tell/add recent repairs, etc.

D and R investors, Possible issue, info. from link; A whining or buzzing type noise may develop from the timing chain area caused by excess slack in the secondary timing chains. Nissan has issued a service bulletin (NTB09-128) regarding this issue. Replacement of both secondary timing chains and their tensioner shoes will be necessary to repair this concern. As part of this repair, the engine oil and filter should also be replaced. More info. at link below as it seems to be a very common issue.

Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
