Touch screen partially unresponsive after battery replaced

Hello. I recently replaced my iPhone 6 battery a few days ago. When I turned it back on, I initially had the vertical white lines across the screen. After several tries and cleaning the connectors, the screen returned to normal but there's a vertical space along the screen that is 95% unresponsive ('r', 'f', 'c' keys on the keyboard). I tried opening it back up and cleaning it again but the same thing occurs. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thanks!
