My MacBook pro A1286 early 2011 I can see the HDD and the Yosemite USB come up but stuck in a white screen after the apple logo and processing bar finished.

Try booting in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on start up. You may have the GPU issue which had a class action law suit on it. https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro...
If so the program may have been extended. Never hurts to ask.

If you have tried booting into a known working external hard drive, or plugging an external screen in, and you still have the same issue, this is most likely GPU related. Would highly recommend selling this for parts on eBay if the above is true, the 15" 2011 models are plagued with this issue, and if it doesn't crash while loading, it will sit on a white or black screen as soon as the OS loads.
