Battery not charging despite SMC reset after water damage
My girlfriend spilled some water onto my MacBook 13" mid 2009 a month or so ago. I didn't immediately notice it had gotten wet so I didn't take any precautions to shut it down or dry it out.
Everything on it works perfectly except the batter will not charge now. I've tried the SMC reset and I've swapped the battery into another macbook and it started charging, so it doesn't appear to be the battery.
I've read on another forum that it could be a problem with the logic board. What do you guys think? And if it is the logic board, could I swap out one from another mid 2009 MacBook thats having hard drive problems into mine?
Here's the coconut battery read out.
Is this a good question?
