I have a Pentalobe screwdriver with a plus not the other sized screwdriver for Pentelobe I saw that it said it was an older one was wondering if it would work in a IPhone 5 for logic board replacement.

As far is a know. Pentalobe in only on the bottom of the phone. If you use the oentalobe to get in the phone, you should be good as i dont think theres any inside. But an iFixit tool kit is AMAZING and its an awesome thing to have not only for phones but for really anything that has small screws. But anyway, it should be fine, just dont strip the screws and be careful.
