Funny "No touch" issue

Hello

I have an iPhone 5 that works good only when it is hand-held.

When the phone is on the table(and the case has no contact with the skin or any GND), the touch does not work at all.

Thanks

Probably a fault caused by a replacement screen. Aftermarket one most likely.

That is a good point. What can I do to solve this? And what exactly from the screen is causing this?

That's just how some aftermarket screens are depending on which supplier you get it from.

I don't know what area exactly on the digitizer layer causes this issue. Probably some grounding issue that the manufacturer of the aftermarket screen did not take into account.

You will just need to get another replacement screen that does not have this issue.
