Screen is black after LCD replacement

Hi guys,

After LCD replacement my iPhone does not show any picture on the screen. When it is connected to a computer it constantly vibrates every 10 seconds or so. I have cleaned connectors on logic board and LCD already, I have also tried hard reset but without success. Now I am suspecting backlight filters since previous LCD does not have piece of tape on backlight flex contacts therefore I assume it shorted. I do not have multimeter at the moment to check continuity of the filters but I took some pictures. To me they look fine because mostly dead filter I have seen look kind of brow]nish. Also could you please tell me what is that capacitor responsible for in the left corner. It looks weird on one side. Thank you in advance.

It was C351 capacitor which is damaged. I have replaced it and the picture on the screen is back.

The missing tape on the 3 solder points for the backlight on the screen don't necessarily cause issues with the phone. Because I have done many screen replacements with or without the tape.

Also for the constant soft-rebooting issue that is most likely caused by either a damaged LCD flex cable or a faulty screen.

I would get the screen replaced under warranty where you purchased it from.

Also a blown backlight circuit does not cause this it would only cause at worst screen no backlight but with display.
