Ipad keeps shutting on and off after Digitizer Replacement

I just replaced the digitizer on my Ipad Air, after a reboot the Ipad now just repeatedly turns on and off without stopping, completely blocking any input.

I tried using the old digitizer, using a smart cover in any configuration possible, and disconnected the power button. None of it worked. When I press the power button I am able to hear that it shuts off/on once "more".

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Answer this question I have this problem too

My guess is damaged home button cable which has the hall effect sensor on it / damaged home button connector and/or misplaced / missing magnet(s) in the iPad.

Since the previous digitizer has the same issue now it shouldn't be the digitizer right? Is there any way to test the magnets? Or check them visually?

Oh. I didn't think it would be apple logo boot looping.

It's not, It was stuck at the apple logo then I put it in recovery mode and reset the device, now it is stuck at the language selection screen. It is NOT rebooting just switching on and off between display lock.
