Why isn't my touch screen not working?

My touch screen hasn't been working since my iPhone split. The screen lifts up while attached still but I can lift it.. Now, when Its split like this.. It isn't showing the battery. Its split from the touch screen I think. Is this something you guys can fix?

if the touch function is not working you probable disconnected the cable inside when you split the phone. take the phone apart and reseat the digitizer and screen connectors then use a two sided tape to close the phone so it doesn't open accidentally again . This guide should help

My home bottom us detached from the cable, will I have to buy a new home bottom?

What do you mean it split? Did the glass separate from the frame?

It just needs a new screen, that is a side affect of a bad quality aftermarket screen.

Depends on where you get it, they can be as cheap as $20 on eBay.

Hi,

With it seperating from the frame, this would've more than likely damaged the cables, this is because it is a cheap screen replacement.

Also, because your home button is attached to the glass, it has been torn, and therefore won't function, so would need replacing, but replacing it won't have Touch ID. :-)
