Leaks and start light flashing.

I saw there is a paddle of water in front of the dishwasher and the start light kept flashing. What could be the problem and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@sl3152 is it flashing in any sequence or just continuously flashing?

@sl3152 the leak could come from anywhere. I'd be focusing on the drain pump as well as the door seal (less likely). Open the dishwasher door and check to be sure that the seal around the front door is not ripped or worn. The reason why I think it is at the drain is based on how the flashing light originates. If there is water in the drip pan it activates a floater microswitch which signals the leak. A leak at the door would most likely not drip in the pan. The part list gives you an idea how and what is located where.

On your model there are a few reason for the Start LED to be flashing. One of them is error code F2 indicating a water leak. There are a few other reasons and you'd have to run the Service test program.
