Why won't my device charge?
I have a 32GB 10" Envizen tablet model EVT10Q. It seems as though the charging port is loose and it will not take a charge. I have tried several different chargers to no avail. The charging notification does come on temporarily (for literally 1-2 seconds) when I move the cord around, but it will not charge. It also isn't recognized by my laptop when I plug it in via USB port. I'm extremely tech UN savvy so I'm really unclear if I could just buy a wireless charging mat and solve the problem or? I have no idea how to find out if my device is even compatible with on of those chargers. Please Help!!!
Is this a good question?
This is definitely a broken connection between the charger port and the PCB. You could try plugging the charger in and holding it at an upward angle. That may be enough to reestablish the connection. However, that isn't a long term solution. I doubt there are many spare charger ports out there for this particular device (it may be that they use a very standard port and you could get pretty much anything). You could try resoldering the one that's in the device already.
