replaced my iPhone 5 LCD but now the glass is not very touch sensitive

I replaced my iphone 5 LCD but now the glass is not very touch sensitive. Everything else seems fine. The screen works, but sometimes I need to touch a letter twice for it to work. The LCD display looks perfectly normal. Could there be something wrong with my glass touch digitizer?
