There are 4 Cam pos. sen. on the 3.5 , 2 on each bank, for their locations see the attached link.

Crankshaft position sensors are all located in about the same position on all cars. They all are on the end of the crankshaft usually behind the harmonic balancer on the front of the motor. They are positioned to get as close to the crankshaft as possible as they need to be able to almost touch the spinning crankshaft to work . Hope this helps
