iPhone 6 coil replacement

Block Image

First there was no backlight and only LCD worked. The backlight diode was totally burnt and coil was cracked a little on top. Also capacitor (C1505) was shorted. So I replaced all of them, diode, coil and that one capacitor.

And after replacement now the lcd also not working and no backlight. My first question is: when I installed new coil there wasn't that little dot on top of it (on that new one) so does it matter which way I install that coil?

Here is the video after failed repair: https://youtu.be/JnRK43eQD1U

Can anybody tell what is going on please?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If you replaced the coil, diode and cap if you used too much heat u may also need to replace that glass ic in the picture that looks chipped above the diode assuming all the other bits replaced are good...

Did you shield the cpu whilst doing any of this???
