Can my tablet use sim card

Hi I am seeing select network in my settings but it don't have any Sims lots only an SD card slot why is that. Can it also use a sim card.

Does it have a slashed out sim card in the upper right corner? Remember, you can always use your phone as a hotspot. That way, you don't have to pay for a separate line.

A network can be more than a phone network . It would probably be referring to a WiFi network
