3Utools, spudger (plastic for some ribbon flex cables and metal for prying certain non conductive and not fragile areas), Phillips head screw driver, tweezers, at minimum red double sided pet resistant transparent tape adhesive. Pentalobe screwdriver.

And phone parts of course (screens / batteries). There's more.

Razer blades help alot too.

@bamsbale great question. On this forum you find a lot of volunteers that spend their time helping others out. Yes, there are a few users on here that have their own repair business and are of great help. Your question would be very suitable for the "pros" that hang out on here

Starting a mobile device repair business will require several tools and equipment to ensure that you are capable of providing quality repair services to your customers. Here are some of the essential tools you will need to get started:

  1. Screwdrivers: You will need different types of screwdrivers to open and close mobile phones, such as Phillips and Torx screwdrivers.
  2. Pliers: Pliers are useful for gripping and holding small parts and wires during repairs.
  3. Spudger: A spudger is a tool used to pry open phone cases and disconnect small cables and connectors.
  4. Tweezers: Tweezers are helpful for handling small parts and screws during the repair process.
  5. Heat gun: A heat gun is used to loosen adhesive and soften plastic parts that need to be removed during repairs.
  6. Soldering iron: A soldering iron is used to repair broken circuit boards, wires, and connections.
  7. Multimeter: A multimeter is an essential tool for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems in phones.
  8. Cleaning supplies: You will need cleaning supplies such as isopropyl alcohol and microfiber cloths to clean parts and components during repairs.
  9. Replacement parts: It is important to have a stock of replacement parts such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and other components that commonly require repair in mobile devices.

Additionally, you will need a workbench, a computer or tablet for managing inventory and customer records, and basic office supplies such as a phone, printer, and scanner. Starting a mobile device repair business can be challenging, but having the right tools and equipment will help you to provide quality services to your customers and build a successful business.
