My LG tv has a picture but it is only on the top right hand side of the screen. TV is probably 5 years old. has been working properly until recently. dont know what to do to get a full screen picture.

Have you perhaps enabled a mode called "Picture in Picture"?

narvin.singh what model is your LG TV and is it a complete picture on the right hand side. Does your onscreen menu display properly or is is on the top right hand side only as well?
