Water in my transmission

My X accidentally put water in the transmission instead of oil is this a job that can be fixed or is the car totaled

as long as you dont run the car theres no problem Just flush the system and put new oil in . If however you drove the car and are already seeing the effects then you may be beyond this point . Do a complete flush and hope for the best . Please realize just draining the pan will not get all the water out . you need to do a complete flush this includes the torque convertor

Unfortunately I think I'm seeing the effects I can't even shift it which I probably shouldn't even have tried to shift it.

you may be able to save it by doing the flush and replacing the oil. don't drive it don't even run the motor until you do the flush . If this is something you need a mechanic for have the car towed
