norma1957_47 , Common problems why your washer may vibrate violently. Suspension spring support rod/tub spring/tub dampening strap broken or unhooked, worn support pads, skate plate out of position, worn balance ring, Bad/worn shaft or bearing. links below may help in diagnosing your was machines problem, some show how to disassemble to gain access for repair and how to repair. If not comfortable working on the machine have a good local appliance repair tech. have a look and estimate repair or if under warranty use it. Good luck.
