How to repair keyboard connector to logic board?

while installing a new hard drive on A IBOOK G4 14INCH , i pulled out the keyboard connector from the logic board . any way to repair?

If you're talking about the keyboard logic board socket no there's nothing to do but using an USB external keyboard or buy another logic board because you can't repair the socket if you're not a skilled tech.

If you mean the keyboard connector then simply remove what's left in the socket and buy another keyboard. The keyboard connector has two little hooks that keep the ribbon cable attached to the connector. Sometimes the little plastic hooks can break if too much pressure is applied to the connector when trying to remove it from the socket. A iBook tech will have spare parts coming from dead KBs to repair but in your case I guess you'll have to buy another keyboard
