Broken iSight cable (pulled out of connector)

I pulled the wires out of the iSight camera cable at the logic board the connector is still in place I just pulled the cable out of the connector. How do I fix that?

you need to replace the entire webcam with cable, which is difficult because you need to take of the entire display assembly and then separate the glass from the rest of the toplid.

You might want to use tweezers to push the broken connector out of the socket though. On some years it causes an issue with sensors, so the fan spins high speed

issues with fans are only when temp sensors are disconnected.

Fan is good I monitor it also with temperature of the CPU

On a good note it's only reaching 63 degrees C under heavy load.

I have been using it without the connector for the past 1 year. All I notice for the difference is no more camera and mic is not working for me. I'm wondering if the mic has to do with the isight port or my mic just coincidence to breakdown at the same time. The rest like fan and sensors was not affected at all. I'm using a A1278 MBP.

Hi Guys i have the same problem on macbook pro 13 late 2011 and I cant find a way to remove the connector. Any ideas please because thats must be the reason that my fan works like crazy. Appreciated any help!!

That 's so hard to get it out. I using the cuter . Look at the side of socket. You found the space between the plug. So using the blade insert between that and Try to push the socket out. Please try the both side left and right. Until the socket going out.
