Both speakers sound horrible ear and bottom speaker...

Just yesterday it was working fine and now every sound that comes out of it sounds really bad.. Loud static sounds from bottom speaker and also when I talk. There is no way that both speakers went bad at the same time??? Any ideas or questions? Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Sometimes this can be caused by a bad ground or crossing connections. I have seen this problem before. What worked for me was to clean all and any connections with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. I then replaced the mic connected to the dock. If you are not experienced with soldering you can just replace the entire dock. The static should be gone from both earpiece and dock loud speaker. Good Luck

Mine does the same thing...

Which connections do you need to clean? Do I need to open it up? Are you talking about connections on the interrior?
