How do I get past the Finalizing Device Setup screen?

I turned my passport off the other day to avoid it ringing during a movie. Since I turned it back on two days ago, it has been in a loop where I get the 'Finalizing device setup' screen. It get to 100% and then restarts the whole thing over again. Have tried soft start from the power button, soft start from the volume toggle keys and most recently have removed and reinstalled the battery. Each re-set starts the pattern all over again. Help :-)

Try removing the SD memory card. Then restart the device.

I had this problem twice with my Passport. The only solution I’ve found is to re-install BB10 OS and it worked. Via BB Link, I downloaded BB 10 on my PC and could install it. Caution : BB Link cannot be installed on Windows 10, and you must know that you will loose all your data if you do so.
