My phone wont charge properly. It says the charging area has moisture but I dont know how if I never put it in water and even if I did. I thought it was water proof. Can you please help me figure this out.

This phone is not waterproof. The problem could be the USB Port daughterboard or the battery. It is also possible that there is moisture. There is a small square that indicates water damage under the back cover. You may have to replace the daughterboard, battery or find a way to fix the water damage.
