My midi Port isnt working and its not my computer or cable

Ive been trying to get my old Casio Privia PX-575R which i've had for 8 years to connect to my computer Via midi so i can record midi files and i've never used the midi, but the physical midi port on my keyboard wont connect. Idk how to replace the midi port so what do i have to do to get it fixed

Hi,

You do not state the OS of the computer that you wish to connect to but have you got the Casio USB -Midi drivers installed in the computer at all? This allows the PC to recognize and correctly connect to the keyboard when connected via a USB cable
