What's wrong with Furby's eyes?

Furby moves and talks like normal but one eye is totally black and the other eye is completely white. I've tried putting new batteries in and also tried resetting furby. My son is bummed cause he says furby looks creepy now. Help!

Not sure if this is sorted or not now but just in case the link below shows how to do a factory reset of the furby. It took a few attempts in my case but this did work .

Just a shot in the dark, but take the batteries out for 5 minutes and reset again. Think of this as a hard reboot.

Yes. I tried that too. Still having the same issue. Can't seem to get Hasbro on the phone either.
