iPod not turning on even when in charger.
My friend asked me to fix his ipod and i plug it in try to reset it nothing happens. It wont turn on.Can someone Please Tell me why?

Could be that the battery is broken or the connector is broken.
How long did you leave it on the charger for? I've had an iPhone that had been not used in a while that I had to leave on the charger for like 3 hours before it even turned on and when it did it had like 2%. Try leaving it on the charger overnight or even for an entire day. If that doesn't work there's probably an issue with either your charger, cable, connector or battery. Also, try a different charger and cable. Apple products can be fussy sometimes with that sort of thing.

Try that. Maybe leave it for 24 hrs
By the way My friend has a diffrent charger and it wasent turning on in that one.

i did last night.
I dont know if it would be bricked. Check the port on the ipod. Is it bent, broken or do you see any pins sticking out? And try opening the ipod and looking inside for anything odd. And if you have a multimeter find a schematic online saying which pins are the ones for 5v and ground on the 30 pin connector going in to the iPod. Check those 2 pins to ensure your getting 5V
