Tv screen not on, just flicker and then black

My LG flatscreen flicker once when turned on and has no screen, its just black, sound is working but no screen. I replaced the power unit but still does the same. Please help, do you think it could be the LED's. How much would that cost if I need to replace? Is it worth fixing?

Hi, As a quick check with the TV on shine a torch at an angle close to the screen to see if you can detect a display at all. A darkened room will help as it will be faint. If you can detect an image it means that the backlighting is not working.

Just clarifying, when you say that you replaced the power unit what do you mean? The power board in the TV itself or does the TV come with an external power adapter of some sort?

What is the model number of the TV?
