one day it just started revving up while driving and not moving.
No check engine lights on
Starts and runs but wont drive just dies when put in gear. Will stay running in park or neutral

1957cindylou , There are lot of things that could cause an issue like this. Best if at all possible for you to get it in some where they can hook up a scanner to read what is causing the fault(the computer can see faults even with out engine light on). Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track.
Stalling issues,Torque converter lock up faulty, bad sensors TPS, MAP, MAF, IAC, O2, failing knock senor, faulty injectors, dirty throttle body, EGR valve, vacuum leak, etc.etc.. Good luck.
