Applied mandatory firmware update for bases. Now it doesn't recognize

I've tried all usb ports, usb 3 and several usb 2 ports. Still doesn't recognize headset or see bases. Need help.

What operation system are you using?

Can you see the video card in device manager?

What is the make and model number of the motherboard (video card, which is it?) that you updated?

Have you also installed the most up to date manufacturer's motherboard (video card?) drivers?

Why was it 'mandatory' to do the firmware update? Most firmware updates are optional unless you need to correct a specific problem or to get an improvement in available features.

What do you mean by 'bases'?
